I used to work with David at Fieldston and I just retired this past June. My husband, Barry, suffered a stroke in August 1999. He rehabbed at Burke in Mamaroneck . . . one of the best facilities in the country.
Please send David my best wishes and tell him to “hang in.” Knowing that David always had a good sense of humor and a positive attitude will keep him on the right track. It did for us.
Caregivers need support too, and I would be happy to have a conversation with you at any time.

All I can say is that I am shocked beyond words. I have not been in touch with any people from Burke until yesterday and found out about David. I got the bog address and signed on. My love to you both. I see that you are going to SF shortly, I hope that you both have a wonderful time and will come and visit in NY when you get back. Scott, you are doing such a great job with your blog entries, I am amazed that you make the time to write everyday. Please give David a big hug and many kisses for me.
