Well, we got in on Tuesday afternoon, and here we are on Friday.  The weather has been great – cool and mostly sunny with a few evening thunderstorms.  We are unpacking an average of 2 boxes a day and the garage is still full of stuff!  The house looks terrific though, and little by little it is all coming together.  I have made a promise to make some new and exciting meals from scratch and have been thinking of things to make.  Every day we go to the local farm stand to see what is fresh and interesting, and plan to make that the model for evening meals – it sure beats Whole Foods!  Made a roasted beet salad last night, but tonight it is dinner with Dad at one of his favorite spots on the NY side of the border.
