The stars in the hazy heaven tremble above you

OK, first, I have to apologize for some of the bad writing last night, I will go back and edit it after posting this.  You would have thought I was drunk or something (which I wasn’t).  I think I was just eager to hit the pillow.  Anyway, this morning, I did get up early and take a nice long walk.  It felt good to get that done.

I had a few things that needed to get done today, and one was getting my international driver’s permit and the other was to go to the Social Security office to address an issue with medicare.  Thank goodness both offices were nearby, so after our morning routine and collecting some documents, we headed out.  The permit was easy and as we drove up to the Social Security office, I thought, will they be open?  They were, but could only help with part of what we were asking.  I guess only essential questions.  The office was pretty quiet too, and we were seen quickly, which was good.  We will, however, have to go back once the government reopens.  After all that, we went for an Indian lunch buffet.  Very good.

We had dinner with Steve and Malcolm at their home.  It was very nice to see them both, and a great dinner.  David did very well with conversation and getting his ideas across.  Only a few frustrating moments.  Thanks for a great evening Malcolm and Steve!  And, by the way, the title refers to the evening. 1. Agree, there was something irritating in Taylor’s presentation, but that soon fades away as her story progresses. Her mom is a hero, as are you, Scott.
